Summer Daze... Lilly Trotter

Remember when the salt stung in your eyes at the beach, the waves crashing onto the sand loudly, the breaking while surfing along them. That was summer.

Remember when you sat in the sun scorching your skin baby pink, burning and sizzling like pork on the barbeque. That was summer.

Remember when you sat inside relaxing or trying to escape the heat, slapping at your skin to get rid of the flies circling your body, wiping the sticky sweaty hair off your skin. That was summer.

Remember when you play sport on the sticky melting tarmac or grass, sweating like crazy. 

That was summer.

Class Council Elections 2013

We have had some great presentations to the class from our students wishing to be elected for Class Council Rep and Deputy. After their speech to the class voting was carried out and we are pleased to announce that Kelland will be our Class Councillor for 2013 with Ashleigh being elected as Deputy.

Week 2 Already!!!

We are well under way with things in Room 4. It is great to have such a keen group of students in the classroom. This week are continuing to get to know each other as well as carrying out some initial testing in Maths and Reading.

I look forward to meeting with Parents who are able to make it along to our meet the teacher evening on Thursday. The evening will start at 6.30pm in the PAC and then continue in Room 4 before returning to the PAC to go over our Year 8 Camp Meeting for all classes.

Homework this week is the "All About Me" work, All students need to have their work completed by Friday. (The 'Holidaze' Poem will be worked on in class on Thursday - so no worries on this one).
